There is a long way off until next summer, and a lot can change over the course of a season, I’ll begin with stating that fact.

However, if you look into the attacking situation at Chelsea right now, there is a chance that the personnel there could look a lot different next season depending on situations and circumstances.

It would be amazing if you guys subscribed for my project over at Si & Dan Talk Chelsea, where we are putting out so much Chelsea content including DAILY Newsletters, exclusive news, breaking news, Podcasts, interviews, and bringing in some massive guests!

You only have to look at the report released by The Telegraph recently saying that Timo Werner will reassess his options next summer if he hasn’t become a regular starter for Chelsea under Thomas Tuchel.

How many more will feel this way if the same thing happens to them? Christian Pulisic is injury prone and therefore he has never been able to become a mainstay in Chelsea’s starting line up, so his future has become a concern.

Hakim Ziyech has reached his late 20s, so there is no way he will be happy being a bench player if that continues, which I can only see it continuing.

Callum Hudson-Odoi has been close to leaving in the last couple of transfer windows despite his ambitions being to stay at Chelsea. But he wants to play, and as things are going right now, I can’t see him getting anywhere near enough starting games to stay at the club, I fear he will seek other options.

At the moment the only real certainties are Romelu Lukaku and Kai Havertz, but even the latter needs to step up his form in order to keep his regular place in the side with others knocking on the door.

As I said, a lot can happen in a season so this situation could turn around. But the fact that in the media these last couple of weeks all we are seeing is Chelsea linked to attackers and attacking midfielders, I think that says a lot about where this situation could head to.
